Çatalhöyük is a Neolithic city located at the southern end of the Central Anatolian Region, in the middle of the Konya Plain. This historical city is located 1 km from Küçükköy Neighborhood, which is 12 km north of Çumra. This place was named Çatalhöyük (Fork Mound) because of its two hills, which have different elevations to the east and west of Çarşamba Suyu, because their shape resembles a fork.
