It is in the center of Konya. The mosque made of Cut Gödene Stone is one of the most beautiful examples of the late Ottoman architecture. Since the mosque, which was previously located and built by Sheikh Ahmed between 1671 and 1676, burned down, the present mosque was rebuilt in honor of Pertevniyal, the mother of Sultan Abdulaziz, in 1867.
