Boncuklu Mound is a 10,500 year old village settlement located on a plateau high above sea level, within the provincial borders of Konya.

Boncuklu has houses made of adobe dating back 8500 years, making it one of the oldest village settlements in the world.

Today Boncuklu is a small mound in a dusty land surrounded by many irrigated agricultural fields; it was part of a revolution 10,000 years ago that made settled life and farming a normal part of our lives.
