
Put the water in the pot and boil. Add the dates. Cook over low heat until they deform.
Then add sugar and cook for another 5 minutes. Add cinnamon just before taking it off the stove.
Press the dates with a spoon and crush them. Strain the mixture through a strainer or cheesecloth.
Add water when cooled and serve.
200 grams of dates
1 tea glass of granulated sugar
5 cups of water
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Cloves (optional)
