
If you travel for a while from the city center of Çumra along the banks of Çarşamba Stream, you will come across the Karaman Bridge, which looks quite magnificent with its arches. Although it is dated to the Seljuk period based on its construction technique and architectural features, it is rumored that it was built during the Karamanid period among the people. Karaman Bridge, which is stated to have been built by the daughter of Karamanoğlu Mehmet Bey without citing the source in some publications, was registered with the decision of Konya Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board dated 01.07.1988.
