The four-arched bridge over the Çarşamba Stream, which keeps the breezes of its period: Welcome to Karkın Bridge!

According to the rumors told among the people, it was built together with Seyithani Bridge in the XVII century, during the eastern expeditions of IV Murad. Due to its current condition, Karkın Bridge is recognized as a late period Ottoman work by art historians.

The arches of the bridge, which has four arches in its original form, have been closed off by the rubble brought by the water. Rough stone, cut stone and spolia stone materials have been used together in the walls, arches and vaults of the bridge, which does not have a flood splitter on its piers.
