Obruk Inn, located in the Karatay district of Konya, is dated to the 13th century. Considered as one of the most important caravanserais on the trade routes of the Anatolian Seljuks, the walls of the inn are constructed of Byzantine stones, which are brought from older settlements. Right next to the inn, there is the Kızılören Sinkhole. This sinkhole met the water needs of the inn during the Anatolian Seljuk Period. The sinkhole, also known as Lake Kızılören, stands out as the largest sinkhole in our country.

The portal of the inn, together with the dentils placed on it, resembles a castle gate.
