According to rumors, Orhaniye (Üsküse) District is a settlement founded by three people. For this reason, it started to be known as Üçkimse (Three souls) among the people, and this name turned into Üsküse in time. However, there are some strong rumors that the name of the settlement comes from Üç Kilise (Three Churches). This settlement, which today bears the name of Orhaniye, is still known as Üsküse among the elderly.
