During a small tour of Selki, one of the oldest settlements in and around Hüyük, you may come across many spolia materials from ancient times on the walls of historical houses and street fountains. The fact that many archaeological materials belonging to the Roman and Byzantine periods were found during the surveys in the region shows that Selki and its surroundings have been an important settlement area since ancient times.
