
Tasbih (prayer beads) consist of beads prepared from various materials on a thread so that the number of prayer words is not confused in worship. The plural of tasbih, which comes from the Arabic root "sebh", is tasbihat. It means to glorify Allah. In Islam, tasbih is string of beads used to count the words "Subhanallah", "Allahüekber", "Alhamdulillah", which are frequently mentioned in the Qur'an and repeated 33 times after each prayer.
