
A historical edifice with traces of European architecture in Baroque style will strike your sight to the east of Konya Train Station, across the road. Augustus Hotel was established in 1895 by Augustos Efendi, one of the city's wealthy Greeks, after the Istanbul-Baghdad Railway reached Konya.
