On the route between Alaeddin Hill and Mevlana Tomb, there is a historical building still in service today in Kayalı Park Square. The Historical Post Office Building, constructed in 1926, was designated a cultural property in 1975. The building is recognized as a significant structure in terms of art and architectural history since it is one of the excellent buildings of the first national architectural movement.
