
Hoca Ahmed Fakih Mosque and Tomb is located in Hoca Ahmed Fakih Neighborhood. Only a mosque dating to the Ottoman Period and a tomb dated 1221 have survived from the complex, the foundation of which was established at the beginning of the 13th century. The patron of the tomb and mosque where Fakih Ahmet, an important religious and scholar of his time, was buried is unknown. Hoca Fakih Mosque and Tomb was restored by the General Directorate of Foundations in 1990.
