You come across the Konya Governor’s Office, which stands or with all its glory on Mevlana Street, which starts from Alaeddin Hill and stretches towards the Mevlana Museum. The Provincial Mansion, erected between 1882 and 1885 by Konya Governor Mehmet Said Pasha using stones from the Historical Konya Castle, was put into service in 1886.
The mansion has an original cut stone texture built in the masonry technique on a longitudinal rectangular area. The hipped roof of the building is covered with Marseille tiles.
