The yellow-painted cute houses, located on the northern corner of the Historical Station Building at the Konya Train Station, are known as "Station Housing" or "German Houses" among the locals. These structures, which were erected in tandem with the Konya Train Station by German engineers in 1896, were designed with a neo-classical and German local style 'heimatstil' architectural style.


These structures have rich visual elements with their own unique architecture and are in harmony with the station building in terms of construction technique and material use. German houses were built in three distinct design types and in groups of three.
