According to the Nakipoğlu Mosque Waqfiya, it was built by the Mufti of Konya Nakib'ül Seyid İbrahim in 1176 AH (1762 CE). Its minaret was built in 1178 AH (1764 CE) by Mehmet Emin, son of Nakib'ül Hac Seyid İbrahim. After being damaged over time, the mosque was demolished and rebuilt in 1926 except for the minaret.
