
A modest mosque named Sheikh Ebu'l-Vefa is found down Meram Köyceğiz Neighborhood, in Selam Neighborhood on Dere Street, on the right side of the road. This historical mosque was built by Karamanoğlu İbrahim Bey in the name of Sheikh Ebu'l-Vefa by establishing some foundations. Sheikh Ebu'l-vefa, one of Istanbul's great saints, was born in Konya and died in Istanbul in 1490. The real name of Sheikh Vefa, who was buried on the left side of the mosque named after him in the Vefa district, was Mustafa bin Ahmet es-Sadri el-Konevî and was also known as Muslihuddin Mustafa. Today, he is also known by the names İbnü'l-Vefa, Ebu'l-Vefa and Sheikh Vefa.
