Some structures from the Republican Era can be seen on the roadway that runs as a long corridor through Kayalı Park in Konya's old city center. Konya Ziraat Bank Building, one of these, was completed in 1929 and was designated a cultural property by the Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board in 1982. The building, which has been used as a bank since its erection, was renovated in 2010 and is currently used as the Ziraat Bank Headquarters.
